REDOX HOMEOSTASIS: FROM SIGNALLING TO DAMAGE

19-21 June
Ferrara Italy

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to Ferrara, Italy from June 19-21, 2019 to join the SFRR-E 2019 annual meeting “Redox Homeostasis: from Signaling to Damage”. This congress will be held in a glamorous historical venue, Teatro Nuovo, situated on the most famous square of Ferrara, Piazza Trento Trieste. The piazza is the beating heart of the city and dates back to the Middle Ages and hosts the new cathedral dedicated to St. George. Ferrara became an intellectual and artistic center that attracted greatest minds and artists, including Piero della Francesca, Jacopo Bellini and Andrea Mantegna, of the Italian Renaissance period during the 15th and 16th centuries. Ferrara, a cultural landscape that is exceptionally well preserved, is authentic in its form and design. Because of these outstanding artistic features, UNESCO included Ferrara among the 53 Italian sites in the World Heritage List. This joint SFRRE/OCC meeting represents a unique opportunity for advancing scientific interactions between academics, researchers and clinicians in the area of Redox Biology, in health and diseases, and how the modulation of those processes impacts health. This conference will focus on the redox-regulated signaling pathway and the double sword effect of redox mediators in physiological and /or pathological signaling. In addition, the role of nutrition and life style will be presented during the three-day meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you in Ferrara in 2019!
